unsung heroes, young vic, 2017

This was a great project, not least because I got to work with my husband, Alex Swift. It was two week of workshops around Queer theatre, based on and inspired by How to Win Against History directed by Alex and with a cast of people I know and love around a topic I feel passionate about. It was dreamy. The How to Win team delivered workshops over the two weeks in which they wrote songs with the participants, then director Rachel Lincoln pulled the whole thing together into a glorious, chaotic performance to an invited audience full of Queer joy.
